STEVE Kean has expressed his disappointment after Blackburn Rovers were beaten 2-0 at Tottenham this afternoon to leave them in real danger of relegation.

Rafael van der Vaart and Kyle Walker scored to put Rovers three points and five goals adrift of safety with only two games left.

Kean’s side did not have a single shot during the game and the Scot said: “The shape was okay but when we did win the ball we were far too loose in our passing to get any worthwhile penetrating attacks.

“Today going forward we never got our passing off.

“Everything behind the ball, the shape of the team was okay.

”When you don’t circulate the ball well enough and don’t get quality into the front two you’re not going to ask any questions of the defenders.

“That was frustrating for us today because we thought we could get up the sides and ask more questions.

“But on the day we just didn’t have the quality to get the passes off.”
