STEVE Kean admits his Blackburn Rovers were "disappointing" at the Reebok Stadium this afternoon but has urged them to start another run.
The Rovers boss believes a below par first half let them down as they crashed 2-1 at an emotionally charged Reebok, to leave them just three points clear of safety.
It was Bolton's first game since midfielder Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest and Kean admits his players coped poorly with the situation.
He said: "I told the lads to separate the occasion from the game. They didn't.
"We wish Fabrice all the goodwill we can give but we had to play the match.
"The Bolton players had a spring in their step and once they got their noses in front it was difficult.
"We are disappointed of course but we will just get back on the training field and make sure we go on another run."
