CHRIS Samba has completed his move from Blackburn Rovers to Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala this evening.
The exact fee is undisclosed although the giant defender is understood to have cost £9million up front, plus £2million add ons.
Samba has not featured for Rovers for almost two months, having handed in a transfer request after accusing owners Venky's of not matching his ambitions.
Samba's departure leaves Rovers with just two available central defenders for tomorrow's trip to Manchester City, with Gael Givet suspended.
