Matt Jansen will return to Ewood Park this week to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Rovers’ Worthington Cup triumph.
The former fans’ favourite scored the opening goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the 2002 final, which Rovers won 2-1.
On Friday (February 24th), Matt will make a special appearance at the Roverstore at Ewood Park between 4-6pm.
Fans will have the chance to meet Matt and have their photo taken both with the player and the trophy itself.
Worthington Cup memorabilia, including a DVD, will also be on sale on the day.
And for supporters wanting to make a night of it, why not continue the evening at Blues? Happy hour will be between 4-8pm (£2 on pints of Fosters and Smooth) or grab a burger and a beer meal deal for only £5.50.
