ACCRINGTON Stanley’s 10-match unbeaten run in League Two came to an end as Barnet claimed a surprise win at the Crown Ground this afternoon.

The Reds had not lost in the league since late October but they fell behind in the 23td minute when Mark Marshall released Ricky Holmes, who fired past keeper Ian Dunbavin.

Clovis Kamdjo had already thumped a header against the crossbar in the opening stages and Barnet made it 2-0 on the stroke of half time when Mark Hughes nodded in Marshall’s free kick.

The Bees had gone into the game in 20th position in League Two but they added a third goal nine minutes after the interval as Sam Deering lashed a shot into the bottom corner from 20 yards after his initial free kick had rebounded off the wall.
