STEVE Kean believes Blackburn Rovers can build on the momentum gained from last weekend's win at home to Swansea.
The Rovers boss said there was a feel good factor around Brockhall this week as they look ahead to Sunday's trip to Sunderland.
Ryan Nelsen and Vince Grella are still missing but Martin Olsson, Ruben Rochina and Michel Salgado are expected to be fit.
Kean said: "It has been excellent this week. When you get a good victory like last week there is a nice feel good factor around the place.
"We have been training well all week and we just want to keep the momentum going.
"We knew the Swansea game was the first of a good batch of home games, with Bolton and West Brom coming up after Sunderland.
"We are looking forward to the Sunderland game and know it will be a good atmosphere being Martin O'Neill's first game."
Meanwhile Kean declined to comment on rumours linking Ghanian Stephen Appiah to Ewood Park.
