DESPITE his side losing 2-1 to Tottenham Steve Kean insists his side were unfortunate not to take all three points themselves.
With more protests before and after the match, Kean defended his players’ efforts.
In a game with plenty of chances for Rovers, they return to the bottom of the league today.
Kean said: “To be honest I think if we just got a point today we would have been disappointed.
"I think when we play with the form we’ve worked on all week, Tottenham definitely felt the pressure.”
“I think with the amount of chances we had today we have to give ourselves a pat on the back.
"The players gave it everything.”
On the fans’ protests, he said: “I don’t know if it’s a large section of the fans behind this.
"But to be honest I really don’t pay much attention to them.
"The owners are behind the club and most fans seemed to be today.”
