A GROUP of Blackburn Rovers fans flew out to India last night as they look forward to their audience with the club’s owners.

Nine members of the official club’s fans forum, plus two other supporters, met at Manchester Airport and will arrive in Pune later today.

Steve Kean and his squad were on a separate flight ahead of being the first Premier League side to visit India, but Venky’s are hoping to include the supporters in most of the week’s activities and do want to meet them.

Travelling supporter Martin Haworth, said: “It is a fantastic gesture from the owners.

"We are not sure what to expect but we have been offered the opportunity and we will grab it with both hands.”
