Ramsbottom United continued their run of good form as they defeated Stone Dominoes 2-0 in a typical game of two halves.
The Rams bossed the first half but only had Ryan Moore’s 35th minute strike to show for their dominance – although Phil Dean hit the bar and Bernard Morley twice went close.
But the Rams had keeper Grant Shenton to thank for pulling of an array of fine saves after the break.
And against the run of play, young forward Kieron Pickup struck late on to maintain the Rams unbeaten run.
