THE All Stars have lived up to their name after they were crowned champions in the Blackburn and District Amatuer Cricket League.
The team took the B Division title to add to the cup they won earlier in the season.
Now the double winners will have eyes on the A Division title next season.
The All Stars finished top of the pile after winning 13 of their 16 league matches.
In what was a three horse race for the title, the All Stars, captained by Raja Ali, held off the challenge of Bharuch and Sansrod who finished second and third respectively.
“I am delighted and feel very proud,” said Raja. “This title is all down to the hard work from all of the players.”
In the A Division, Gujrat took the title ahead of Blackburn Eagles and Brookhouse.
n A final league table will appear in next week’s Grassroots.
