RISHTON have been rocked after professional Cameron Delport was forced to return home with a finger injury.
The South African was impressing at Blackburn Road in his first season in the Lancashire League.
But he has been carrying the injury for several weeks but now a London specialist told him he needs surgery and he has been recalled by Natal.
Rishton now need to find a sub-pro and skipper Jimmy Bibby said: "It is a real blow for us."
That is not the only piece of bad news for Rishton as all-rounder Mo Patel has broken his wrist.
