Padiham’s Holt top of bowling charts
PADIHAM professional Chris Holt won praise for his first half century for his new club in the win over Oswaldtwistle Immanuel on Saturday.
However, it is his bowling that is really catching the eye in his first season in the paid ranks.
Former Read skipper Holt has 24 wickets so far in the Ribblesdale League to top the charts ahead of Baxenden paid man Babar Naeem (23) and Read pro Stuart Hornby (23).
Barnoldswick’s Jaffar Nazir has 22 victims.
Padiham have now won three games on the spin.
