DAVID Edgar makes his first start since September as Burnley sign off the season with a home game against Cardiff City.

The Canadian comes in to replace defender Michael Duff, who is ruled out with the hamstring strain he picked up against Leeds last weekend.

And midfielder Chris McCann becomes the sixth holder of the captain's armband this season in Duff's absence.

Winger Ross Wallace also starts his first game in a month as he replaces Chris Iwelumo, who is dropped to the bench.

That change is likely to leave Jay Rodriguez leading the attack, with current top scorer Chris Eagles in support.

Young professional Dominic Knowles is named among the substitutes for the first time in his career.
