GRAHAM Alexander and ex-Claret David Eyres are due to swap football boots for cricket pads tomorrow all in aid of Gary Parkinson.
The due will represent Burnley FC in a four-team Twenty20 cricket tournament at Preston CC’s West View.
Players past and present from the Clarets, Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool will be joined by guest stars from each club to play a three-game tournament featuring two semi-finals and a final, with all the proceeds raised from gate receipts helping to fund Gary’s ongoing care following his stroke.
First up at 10am, a keenly anticipated tussle pits Bolton Wanderers against Burnley, while Blackpool and Preston clash at 1pm with the final at 4pm.
Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for juniors for the whole day.
