ORGANISERS of the Accrington Lions Carnival are inviting junior teams to take part in a five-a-side football competition.
The event is open to boys and girls teams and U11s, U12s and U13s and will be played on the £1m state-of-the-art pitches at Accrington and Rossendale College.
Teams and clubs from across Hyndburn are invited to take part in the competition where matches up to the final will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22.
The finals themselves will be held on Carnival Day on Saturday, June 18.
The five-a-side event, sponsored by Hampstons Estate Agents, has eight places available in each category are will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
