"Players will get their chance and I am hoping Joe Bolton can have a better year with the bat than last.
"Lee Kennedy and Steve Elwood are available and pro Paul Turner is getting more involved in the club and he will score plenty of runs over the course of the season."
Prediction: Cherry Tree will miss the pace bowling of Jon Baldwin, who is in Australia, and that means extra responsibility for new skipper Andreas Sudnik and Dan Lord. Cherry will be there or there abouts – and could well claim the Ramsbottom Cup.
