Leon Cort has signed a one-month loan extension at Preston.
The former Stoke City defender has been a hit since going to Deepdale last month having won man of the match awards in the last three games.
Cort, who Brian Laws made a £1.5m signing almost 12 months ago, found it difficult to break in to the Burnley line-up this season.
However, he has impressed Preston boss Darren Ferguson and the coaching staff, including ex-Claret David Unsworth.
