PADIHAM keeper Sean Davis knows all about the ups and downs of non league football having scored in Wednesday's FA Vase tie at Bacup then ended up in hospital after suffering a head injury at Atherton.
His absence from the start of the second half did not help the cause of Padihamwho trailed to a Daniel Smith goal at the break.
Stuart Telfer took over in goal as Padham equalised through Caine Hanley.
Atherton’s winning goal came 15 minutes when Ben Cartwright prodded home from close range to score and seal the points.
