SOME celebrations were going a little over the top last night. Sure, we got through but only just.
People were running through the streets of Oswaldtwistle waving their England flags last night.
It was as though we had just won the World Cup - not sneaked through against the mighty Slovenia.
Fair enough, they did enough and the past doesn't matter anymore. It is all down to 90 minutes against Germany.
But we are going to have to improve a lot to stand a chance of progressing into the quarter finals, not to mention a then potential meeting with Argentina.
The World Cup final still seems a long way at the moment - especially with Wayne Rooney looking a pale shadow of his former self.
