Ramsbottom were beaten for the first time this season as Vinny Hanson’s Rawtenstall starred at Bacup Road in Sunday’s shock of the day.
Keith Roscoe and Andrew Payne claimed four wickets each as Rammy were bowled out for 128 when chasing Rawtenstall’s 180 all out.
It was a shock for Ramsbottom, who went into the game without their captain Jon Fielding, who had work commitments.
