LAMMACK Girls Under 15s made up for the disappointment of missing out on the league title by winnng the cup for the fifth consecutive year, beating Academy 6-2.
In what was a very competitive final, Academy took the lead but the scores were soon level when Ruth Poulter raced on to a short corner and finished from the edge of the area.
Lammack went in to the lead for the first time thanks to a wonderful volley from Nicola Shirtcliffe after pulling the ball out of the air with her right foot.
And Chelsie Martin extended their with an equally as impressive goal, swivelling on the edge of the box and finishing with a crisp drive.
Lammack’s defence were caught out again as Academy pulled a goal back.
But that was where the fightback finished as Lammack clinched victory thanks to another strike from Shirtcliffe and goals from Jess Riley and captain Nadine Parkinson.
