ACCRINGTON Stanley still expect to receive nearly £250,000 in extra cash from the Football League next season despite being one of the clubs to ask for clarification over the new Premier League parachute payments.

The majority of League One and League Two clubs opted not to approve the increased parachute payment plan this week because of concerns it could exacerbate the financial disparity between divisions.

But Stanley, who host Chesterfield this afternoon, anticipate a deal will be agreed and that would mean all League Two clubs receiving almost £250,000 more per season in solidarity payments.
