CHRIS McCann has been named on the bench for Burnley's reserve team tonight as he makes his comeback from a knee operation.
The midfielder has made only one Premier League appearance since September and had to go back under the knife at the start of the month in an attempt to finally solve his knee problem.
But he will be a substitute for the second string tonight when they host Manchester United at Turf Moor at 7pm.
Jay Rodriguez will start for the Clarets, while Burnley-born Northern Ireland under 21 international Oliver Norwood is in the United squad along with former Clarets youngster John Cofie.
Burnley: Penny, Woods, McEneaney, Anderson, Long, Yadolahi, Kay, Harvey, Rodriguez, W Fletcher, A MacDonald. Subs: D MacDonald, King, Knowles, McCann, Nimani.
