TEST: Entries are still available for the Bobby Parkes Memorial Tests on May 9, organised by Morecambe Car Club as a multi-venue autotest with navigator.

The format sees around 30 tests during the day using classic venues such as Halton army camp, Warton Stock Car Club, Booth Hall and Ellel Quarry. First car leaves the Vale of Lune Rugby Club in Morecambe at 8.30am.

SUPERBIKES: Motorpoint Yamaha are having a ‘meet the team’ evening at Motorpoint, Burnley, tomorrow night, starting at 7pm.

Dan Linfoot and new signing Ian Lowry and their bikes will be in attendance, together with Neil Hodgson, who was forced to retire from the sport last week.

STOCK CARS: Warton Stock Car Club’s May Day Trophy meeting takes place on Sunday, with racing for bangers, senior Minis, Stock Cars and Ministox, together with a ladies race.

Action starts at noon, with admission £9 for adults, concessions £4 and under-10s free.

Paul Buckel and Steve Butler, from Accrington, were tenth and Simon Boardman and Paul Rayner came home 17th.

TRIAL: Back Cowm Quarry at Whitworth is the venue for Rochdale DMC’s first evening trial of 2010.
