Burnley are looking to get back to winning ways, starting with Saturday's Turf Moor clash against runaway leaders Reading.

Both sides have injury doubts ahead of the Turf Moor clash, with Clarets duo Garreth O'Connor and Graham Branch cause for concern.

O'Connor missed last weekend's defeat at Coventry with ankle ligament problems, while Graham Branch added to the woes by limping off with a hamstring injury.

Cotterill will also hope that Michael Duff and Kyle Lafferty return unscathed from international duty this week as he prepares his wafer-thin squad for another tough test.

Duff is scheduled to pick up another full cap for Northern Ireland tonight in the friendly clash with Estonia in Belfast, while teenage striker Lafferty is celebrating after winning his first U21 cap.

The 18-year-old, who appeared as a substitute for Burnley last weekend for the first time since August, had been drafted into the U21 squad for the clash with Wales at Llanelli.

And Lafferty played 84 minutes of the friendly against Brian Flynn's Welsh youngsters.

Meanwhile Reading, currently 19 points clear of third placed Watford in their relentless march towards the Premiership, have their own injury problems ahead of Saturday's Championship game.

Strikers Dave Kitson and Kevin Doyle and influential midfield duo Steve Sidwell and Glen Little all face fitness battles.
