OSAYAMEN Osawe's stunning 102nd minute winner gave Blackburn Rovers under 18s a thrilling 2-1 win over Everton to set up an FA Youth Cup two-legged semi final against Chelsea.

The 16-year-old bent the ball past Everton goalkeeper Adam Davies from 18 yards after Jason Banton's through ball had sent the substitute racing clear on goal.

Grant Hanley's 80th minute equaliser had taken Rovers into extra time as a brave second half display left a strong Everton side rattled.

The Blackburn Rovers centre back volleyed home from close range after Jackson Ramm's free-kick from deep had caused problems in Everton's defence.

Everton's Shane Duffy headed home Jose Baxter's curling free-kick on 42 minutes as Rovers conceded their first goal in the competition.

After the break Jason Banton was inches away from levelling on 57 minutes when his goal-bound strike was deflected over the bar, following a flowing move involving Tom Hitchcock and Michael Potts.

Rovers goalkeeper Josh Swann dived low to his left to fist away Nathan Craig's curling effort on 10 minutes as Everton created the best chances of the first half.
