CLARETS goalkeeper Brian Jensen helped arrange a different kind of wall to celebrate the launch of Talent Week.
The big Dane was joined by winger Chris Eagles for the event, at the Charter Walk Shopping Centre, yesterday.
They signed young people’s “talent bricks”, which will be placed on a talent wall to act as a backdrop to a week of different activities and events that celebrate talent in local communities.
The “talent bricks” carry young people’s profiles and their hopes for the future.
A spokesman from the Talent Week initiative said: “We are developing partnerships with shopping centres, retailers and other organisations to make Talent Week a huge success and to use it to signpost young people to as many opportunities as possible to ensure they get the chance to take part and develop their talents”
The players also signed autographs and handed out gift vouchers for Burnley markets.
The initiative has been developed by business and the community, and the Talent and Enterprise Taskforce, in association with BSCS and Edge, to celebrate the talents of young people across the UK.
