BLACKBURN Rovers fan Jem Karacan is after revenge on Saturday when Reading face Burnley in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Turkish under-21 midfielder saw his dreams of playing in the Premier League dashed when the Clarets beat Reading 3-0 on aggregate in the Championship play-offs.

Karacan had no great love Burnley in any case, with the Londoner growing up as a Blackburn fan and his brother a season ticket holder at Ewood Park.

And now he is determined to secure victory over the Clarets at the Madejski Stadium.

“I know a few of the lads want to get one over Burnley, and I definitely do,” said Karacan.

“It’ll be a bit of payback after last year and the lads are looking forward to it.

“My brother has been on the case. He’s away for the game sadly, but it would be nice to get a win for him. I’m sure he’d be happy.

“He’s not a massive fan of Burnley so it would be nice to do one over them.”
