CHORLEY are scheduled to host Clitheroe in an East Lancashire derby in UniBond First Division North tomorrow – but non-league clubs are being given permission to postpone matches this morning if the weather dictates.
The Magpies have not been able to play since December 12 because of snow and ice in the region and clubs will be allowed to call off matches without the need for a pitch inspection if it looks highly unlikely that the fixture will be able to take place.
In the same division, Rossendale United are due to entertain Harrogate Railway Athletic at Dark Lane, while six East Lancashire teams also face a battle with the winter weather in the Vodkat League.
Bacup Borough are at home to Maine Road in the Premier Division, while Colne host Glossop North End at Holt House and Padiham are scheduled to entertain Abbey Hey at the Arbories.
Nelson face a trip to Runcorn Linnets and Ramsbottom United travel to Squires Gate, while Barnoldswick Town are away to Daisy Hill in the First Division.
