ACCRINGTON Stanley striker Michael Symes has been named as the PFA fans' League Two player of the month for December.
Symes, who has been offered a new contract at Stanley after being linked with a move to Derby, has been in impressive form in recent weeks and topped a supporters' vote ahead of Bournemouth's Brett Pitman, Notts County's Lee Hughes and Morecambe's Phil Jevons.
