DENMARK must have some good goalkeepers if Brian Jensen can’t get into their squad at the moment.

He played very well again on Saturday against Chelsea. His shot stopping was very good.

He is 34 years old now but goalkeepers can go on for quite a while, and it would be good to see him get a chance at international level. I think he does deserve it.

Looking at his performances, he must be doing something right because you have to be to keep clean sheets against Manchester and Everton.

Chelsea were just too strong for us on Saturday.

If they had been playing anyone else apart from Burnley I would have been supporting them, because I had 12 years at Chelsea and I would rather they won the league than Manchester United.

But I follow Burnley now and I did want them to win.

I think they gave the ball away a little bit too easily at times, so Chelsea were able to put pressure on. But Chelsea’s movement and passing was tremendous.

The Martin Paterson miss early on could have been a turning point I suppose, but even if Burnley had gone 1-0 up I’ve got a feeling that Chelsea might still have gone on to win the game.

Martin tried to send the keeper the other way but unfortunately he put the ball wide of the post.

It was just a blow to lose that goal before half time because if they had gone in at half time at 0-0 it would have been a real confidence booster. Brian had made some great saves in the first half.

To lose goals just before and after half time, that can be totally deflating.

It can become difficult once you are 2-0 or 3-0 down, although I suppose they were 3-0 down against Tottenham last year and came back so strange things can hapen.

But the players can hold their heads up high.

They have got six points from their first four games and they have surprised people.

They were not expected to get six points against the champions Manchester United and against Everton No one thought they would have six points on the board at this stage.

Some thought they might get a point at Stoke and, once they didn’t, people thought they might not have any points by this stage.

Those six points will stand them in good stead.

I’m sure Owen Coyle will give them a good week’s rest now, and they’ll go to Anfield and go and play in two weeks’ time.

Every game is like a cup final for Burnley, and I’m sure they’ll give a good account of themselves against Liverpool.
