ACCRINGTON Stanley winger Bobby Grant made his long-awaited return to action in the reserves’ 3-2 defeat at Carlisle.
Grant has been absent since August with a knee injury but started alongside new loan signing Craig Mahon.
Jamie Clarke and Andy Procter also featured and both found the net.
Bee Ami was sent off as Stanley’s youth team lost 5-1 at home to Burnley on Saturday.
Wes Fletcher scored twice for the Clarets with further goals coming from Michael King, Nik Kudiersky and Liam Newman.
The Reds’ goal came from Adam Strode.
