Midfielder Vince Grella is an injury doubt for Blackburn Rovers’ weekend clash with Arsenal after pulling out of Australia’s World Cup qualifier against Uzbekistan on Wednesday night with a calf problem.
Coach Pim Verbeek insisted Grella’s prognosis was “good” but added it was in the best interests of both his club and country if he returned to Ewood Park for treatment.
