Here's The Lancashire Telegraph's best guess on how Rovers might line-up against Leicester City in the Championship.
Goalkeeper
Aynsley Pears will be in goal for Rovers. He will need to be at his best to ensure they get a positive result at The King Power Stadium.
Defence
After keeping a clean sheet last time out, it is tough to envisage any changes to the defence.
Kyle McFadzean produced a man-of-the-match display alongside Hayden Carter and Dom Hyam. That same back three also delivered the goods at Leeds United in the second half.
Callum Brittain and Harry Pickering will be the wing-backs and will have their hands full against Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi.
Midfield
Sondre Tronstad and Joe Rankin-Costello look set to continue in the middle of midfield. Yasin Ayari produced an impressive cameo off the bench against Coventry City but I doubt John Eustace will break up his favoured midfield pairing.
Attack
Up front, it will be the usual front three of Sam Gallagher, Tyrhys Dolan and 31-goal marksman Sam Szmodics.
Dilan Markanday, Andrew Moran and Semir Telalovic will be the attacking options from the bench.
Predicted Blackburn Rovers team: Pears; Brittain, Carter, McFadzean, Hyam, Pickering; Tronstad, Rankin-Costello; Dolan, Szmodics, Gallagher.
