Burnley are back in action after the World Cup break as they make the trip to the capital to take on Queens Park Rangers.

Vincent Kompany’s side haven’t played since their 3-0 win against fierce rivals Blackburn at Turf Moor nearly a month ago.

The Clarets currently sit at the top of the table, having lost just two league matches since the start of the campaign.

Meanwhile, QPR sit sixth and were beaten 2-0 by Coventry in their last match. Viktok Gyokeres, who has been linked with a Janaury move to Turf Moor, bagged a brace that day.

The London outfit are searching for a new manager after Michael Beale left to join Rangers during the break.

When and where is the game being played?

The match takes place on Sunday afternoon with a kick-off time of 1pm. Burnley have sold out their allocation for the fixture.

The Clarets recorded a 1-0 victory when the sides last met back in May 2016, with Sam Vokes getting the decisive goal. The result saw them clinch promotion back to the Premier League under Sean Dyche.

The points were shared several months prior following a goalless draw at Loftus Road, with Scott Arfield making a vital goal line clearance in stoppage time.

How to follow the action

The game has been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports Football (channel 403 for UK viewers). Live commentary is also available via Clarets+, while BBC Radio Lancashire will also be covering the game on FM and DAB.

Will highlights be available?

Highlights will be available both on Clarets+ and the club’s YouTube channel after the game. However, the fixture takes place after this week’s episode of the EFL highlights show on ITV4, which airs at 10pm on Saturday night.
