The Lancashire League season starts this weekend. Here, Lancashire Telegraph Sport looks at Enfield.

Captain: David Bracewell
Professional: Brandon Hiini (New Zealand)
Last season: 8th
Ins: Benjamin Dowling (St Anne's), Mark Burns (Edenfield)
Outs: Bernard Reidy (retired), Sam Reidy (Walkden), Andrew Higgins (retired) Mitch Taylor and Matt Taylor (Oswaldtwistle Immanuel)

Bracewell: "We've been chasing Mark Burns for three years, and thankfully we've got him this time, so he should make a difference.

"Adam Bracewell has stepped in since we lost Russell Edmondson, but he's a decent bowler as well so it will be good to have him in that department.

"Liam Bedford is coming through, but he probably needs another season or two with the gloves in the seconds before he's ready to step up.

"Bernard's retired, and that's a loss to us as he was our main wicket taker last season, but Matloob Khan came through and did well in the last few games.

"I'm looking for more consistency than last year.

"We performed against all the top sides and lost against the bottom teams, which spoilt our season because we had such a good start.

"Brandon Hiini returns on a high having just won the state title in New Zealand, while Andy Barker is just a couple of hundred runs shy of 10,000 league runs."
