JONATHAN Walters could leave Burnley before Friday's loan deadline.
The 34-year-old has started just twice for the Clarets since his move from Stoke City a year ago, once in the EFL Cup last August and then in the Europa League earlier this month.
He wasn't part of the squad that travelled to Athens a week ago the first leg of the play-off round tie with Olympiakos and didn't train on Wednesday as Burnley prepare for the return leg on Thursday.
Walters could move on loan to an EFL club before the window shuts at 5pm on Friday and Sean Dyche revealed a couple of clubs had been in touch about the Republic of Ireland international.
"There's talk of Jon. A couple of clubs have been in contact, so we'll see where that goes," the Burnley boss said.
