BURNLEY will face Istanbul Basaksehir in the Europa League third qualifying round, if they can get past Aberdeen.
The draw for the next stage was made at UEFA headquarters in Nyon today and the winners of the second qualifying round tie between the Clarets and the Dons have been handed probably the toughest possible fixture in the next section, against a side that finished third in the Turkey's Super Lig last season, just three points behind champions Galatasaray.
If Sean Dyche's men do get through the first leg will be played Fatih Terim Stadium on Thursday, August 9, with the return at Turf Moor a week later on Thursday, August 16.
Burnley return to Europe for the first time in 51 years this week, travelling to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen on Thursday before the return leg at Turf Moor a week later.
