Tonight's NatWest Pro40 match between Lancashire Lightning and Sussex Sharks at Old Trafford has been abandoned.
The club say that Old Trafford has still not fully recovered from the 7 weeks of rain following the June Test match, and heavy rain overnight plus persistent showers today have made the ground unsafe to play on.
Umpires John Holder and Jeff Evans called off the match two hours before the scheduled start.
The teams will take a point each.
