ONE of the founder members of the East Lancashire League has returned ahead of the new season.
Pendle Forest Sports Club, who were a part of the league when it was formed in 1981, have rejoined from the Craven League.
Forest are one of two new teams to have joined the league with BAe Canberra moving from the West Lancashire League.
A third club, Whalley FC, were elected at the AGM but have since indicated they will not be joining.
The new campaign starts on Saturday, August 25 and the league is on the look-out of new referees and any registered official who wants to officiate.
