STANLEY boss John Coleman says he's happy with his side's Scotland trip so far - despite the lack of goals.

The Reds have played out goalless draws against Brechin City and Arbroath in the first two parts of their tour north of the border.

And with Coleman's charges facing East Fife today (kick off 3pm), the Stanley boss says he's happy with the way his players are shaping up ahead of the new League Two campaign.

He said: "It's really all about fitness at the moment and working towards a pattern of play we want to use when the season starts.

"I'm always disappointed when we don't score but that's something we can work on before the real business gets under way."

He added: "We've got a lot of new faces and they're not used to playing together but they're improving.

"And I know that East Fife have spent a little bit of money so they should provide us with the kind of test we want."
