BLACKBURN ROVERS boss Mark Hughes is confident of wrapping up the signing of Roque Santa Cruz in the next 24 hours.
The Rovers chief confirmed this morning that the 25-year-old Paraguayan has flown into England for talks.
And providing there's no late hitch in negotiations, Hughes hopes to get his man in a deal that could see Rovers pay £4.5 million for the Bayern Munich striker.
The Rovers boss said: "Things are moving forward and I hope to have some news in the next 24 hours.
"He's in the country as we speak but I haven't met him yet."
