LANCASHIRE’s cricketers spent time at Rovers’ Brockhall training base yesterday afternoon as part of their pre-season programme.
The cricketers were put through their paces at the club’s indoor centre by the Rovers fitness coaches, before taking part in a spot of six-a-side to finish off the afternoon.
What a goal this was from @Rovers Manager Owen Coyle. 👏

Manager Owen Coyle, as well as under-23s assistant boss David Dunn, were keen to show off their skills in the small sided games, with Coyle stealing the show with an excellent strike.
As captured on camera by the cricket club’s media team, Coyle picked the ball up some 20 yards out, before putting in an inch perfect chipped effort on his left foot which found the top corner, though there were questions to be asked of the goalkeeper.
Posting on Twitter, the cricket club said: “A big thank you to everyone at Rovers after the Lancashire squad spent this afternoon at their training ground #RedRoseTogether.
“Very good of Rovers manager Owen Coyle and his coaching team to spend some time with our players this afternoon. Good luck on Saturday.”
