BLACKBURN Rovers centre-back Shane Duffy is in the final Republic of Ireland squad for their huge Euro 2016 play-off.
Duffy was originally named in Martin O’Neill’s provisional 39-man party for the two-legged clash with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
But the 23-year-old, whose one and only international cap came against Costa Rica in June 2014, has made the cut after Ireland boss O’Neill trimmed his squad to a 30-strong selection.
Also included is Burnley defender Stephen Ward.
The first leg will take place in Zenica on Friday with the return match following in Dublin next Monday.
The winners will book their place at the finals in France next summer.
Adam Henley and Tom Lawrence, with Wales, and their Rovers team-mate Corry Evans, with Northern Ireland, will be hoping to play at the tournament after their countries sealed automatic qualification.
