DESPITE the loss at the weekend, Rovers have been building momentum whilst Burnley are still living off their temporary and fleeting visit to the Premier League.
It’s a matter of time until reality kicks in for them and that reality could well kick in on Saturday.
Blackburn have been far superior in derby day fixtures, albeit an uncharacteristic blip on our last meeting.
And I fully expect Rovers to reclaim the dominance with a comfortable victory.

IT depends which Rovers team turns up and who is in it! I despair of the inconsistency and the false dawns so prevalent in the sides’ recent history.
Certainly Burnley should be favourites because they are a far superior outfit. They have a settled team and players who give their all for the manager, the fans and the table doesn’t lie.
Recent derbies have been relatively close but I think Rovers will be lucky to get a point out of this encounter and I don’t want to hear anymore hard luck stories.
