DAVID Bentley scooped his first award of the season when he was named the Disabled Supporters Club player of the year at a presentation night on Thursday evening.
Bentley, who has come on in and leaps and bounds over the last 12 months, was a worthy winner of the accolade following some fine performances on the right hand side of midfield.
The England Under 21 international was honoured to receive the award, which he collected in person at Ewood Park.
