ACCRINGTON Stanley assistant manager Jimmy Bell has revealed the club needs at least eight new players before the start of next season.
And he is hoping two of those will be Liverpool loan stars Godwin Antwi and David Martin, although he also admitted goalkeeper David Olsen, who was on trial on Tuesday night against Clitheroe, was another possibility.
Bell is confident the Reds can mount a challenge for the play-offs after narrowly escaping relegation this term, but he said it would take some financing.
He said: "We'd like to secure Godwin and David on season-long loan deals.
"We need seven or eight new signings and to get the ones we want will take a bit of money. There's going to be difficult times in the summer."
