POPULAR Burnley veteran Graham Branch admits he is going to find it hard to leave Turf Moor.

The 35-year-old is set to sign off his Clarets career in style after over eight years at the club with a testimonial on Bank Holiday Monday, kick-off 3pm.

Branch, who is out of contract at the end of this season, was honoured at the Supporters' Clubs' player of the year presentation night with a special award for service.

And he admitted that it would be a wrench to move on.

"It's going to be hard to leave," said Branch.

"To be at a club for as long as I have, it does get hard, but I'm looking forward to the time I've got left here.

"The lads have made my time at Burnley really enjoyable.

"The gaffer knows how to pick a good bunch and they are superb - I really do mean that.

"I'd like to thank all the people over the years who have supported me.

"I've been through some tough times but I always knew I would come through it, and I did."

The current Burnley squad will play a Branch Select XI, including ex-Clarets Andy Payton, David Eyres, Marlon Beresford and Gareth Taylor, at Turf Moor on Monday.

Admission to the game costs £8 for adults and £4 for concessions, while after the match a cabaret casino night will take place in the James Hargreaves Suite from 7.30pm, which invited guests such as Peter Reid, Bryan Robson, Adrian Heath, Brian Flynn and Martin Dobson will be attending.

Entry costs £10, with £5 worth of casino money in return.

There is a cabaret with Ritchie James and a disco until 1am.
