JORDAN White's goal six minutes into the second-half sank Bacup in North West Counties Division One and was enough to give rock-bottom Stone Dominoes only their second league victory of the season.
Captain White tucked away from close range, following a quickly taken free-kick outside the Bacup penalty area.
Bacup rallied after going behind and Ian Hughes missed his side's best effort when heading over the bar from 10 yards out.
Borough must try to get back to winning ways tomorrow night when they host Atherton Collieries.
