COLNE'S strikers Sam Heap and Anthony Murt combined to give Maine Road a torrid time.
The visitors shaded the first-half and took the lead on 35 minutes when Murt played a square pass to Heap, who finished from the edge of the box.
Just 10 minutes into the second-half, it was Murt's time to hit the scoresheet as he headed in Heap's left wing cross at the far post.
Maine Road offered very little and were three goals down with 15 minutes to go.
Heap was sent clear one-on-one and the in-form forward made no mistake.
